Meridian Realty has earned a strong reputation for helping families and businesses buy, sell, and lease property with honesty and care. Its website, however, did not reflect that quality. Pages were slow, listings were hard to filter, and enquiries often went unanswered. Aveqro was asked to create a fast, elegant listings platform that matches the brand and turns online visitors into confident, qualified enquiries.
The challenge
The old website had grown over many years and relied on outdated code. Property photos loaded slowly on mobile, search filters were limited, and agents updated listings by emailing a developer. The company was also losing ground in search results to competitors with newer sites. Meridian needed a modern platform that agents could manage themselves, buyers could browse easily, and search engines could understand clearly.

Our approach
Our team began with a content and search audit to understand what buyers look for and how competitors present listings. We then designed a clean, image-led layout with generous white space, strong typography, and a colour palette drawn from the Meridian brand. Technology and architecture
We built the site on Laravel with a MySQL database, giving agents a reliable admin area and clean, maintainable code. Google Maps powers the location search and map views. Images are automatically resized and compressed when uploaded, then served in modern formats with lazy loading, which keeps pages light without sacrificing quality. Clean URLs, structured data for property listings, and a generated sitemap help search engines index each page correctly.
Overcoming technical challenges
Migrating years of listings was the biggest task. We cleaned and mapped the old data, standardised addresses, and removed duplicates before import, so nothing was lost and every listing appeared correctly. We also tuned database queries and caching so filtered searches respond quickly, even during busy periods. Cross-browser and device testing ensured the experience stayed consistent on phones, tablets, and desktops.
Results and impact
After launch, page load times improved dramatically, and visitors spent longer exploring listings.
